Recipe - Gin gummy bears

A simple recipe that can change a childhood favourite into something for adults. 

You don’t have to use a gin for this and can substitute for another alcohol, just use Jelly instead of gelatine.

There are two different recipes below depending on what type of gin or alcohol you want to use


Flavoured gin


Ingredients:

500ml Tiptree gin

7g Gelatine

Gummy bear mould


Method:

Gently heat 200ml of the gin and then add the gelatine and mix till dissolved

Add the rest of the gin and stir

Gently pour into the gummy bear mould and then allow to chill overnight in the fridge.

Pop them out of the mould and enjoy


Un-flavoured gin or other alcohol


Ingredients:

500ml Gin or other alcohol

135g Flavoured jelly

Gummy bear mould


Method:

Break the jelly into cubes and place into a bowl

Gently heat 250ml of the gin and then pour over the jelly cubes and allow to melt

Pour the remaining gin into the bowl and gently stir

Gently pour into the gummy bear mould and then allow to chill over night in the fridge.

Pop them out of the mould and enjoy
